Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Articles
Texts will be accepted from one or more authors presenting results of recent research, innovative methodological applications, and/or systematic theoretical reviews. The structure of the texts will generally follow the following subtitles: introduction (with problem statement, objective, hypothesis, and/or research questions), research framework (theoretical-methodological, contextual, and/or state of the art), findings or results of the research, conclusions, and bibliographic references. Articles must include a minimum of 15 cited bibliographic references.
Special Thematic
One or more coordinators may propose a thematic special issue composed of a minimum of 6 articles. These articles must meet the same criteria outlined in section 2.1. To submit a proposal for a thematic special issue, a text should be presented with the following subtitles: description of the theme (including the problem statement of the section, main dimensions, and delimitations), bibliographic references, and summaries of the proposed articles for the section by different authors (from various disciplines, genders, generations, etc.).
Public Policy
Critical reviews, positions, or supported public policy designs related to urban and/or territorial issues will be accepted, presented by one or more authors. The structure of the texts will generally include the following sections: introduction (with problem statement, objective, hypothesis, or questions about the public policy), framing of the analysis or design of public policy (theoretical-methodological frameworks, contextual and/or state of the issue), critical analysis or design of public policy, conclusions, and references.
Reviews
Critical reviews of academic activities or works of recent publication (last 5 years) relevant to urban-territorial issues will be accepted. These texts may be submitted by one or more authors. The structure of the texts will generally include the following sections: full contextual or bibliographic details of the reviewed book or academic activity, introduction, development, and conclusions if applicable, as well as bibliographic references.
